Airtel claims that cyber cafe owners take the residential plans and use them for commercial purposes.

In other words… Airtel Broadband agents cheat by selling residential plans to commercial customers. And we consumers suffer as a result.

Airtel’s incompetency is the reason why we have to deal with fair usage policy on their network.

i just got shafted by airtel... calledup to complain about lousy browsingspeed,
their tests showed a speed of 2mbps, inspite of my paying for 4mpbs
and a dowload capacity of 24 gb... am told that after 1 gb my speed will reduce to 256 kbps
and no corresponding reduction in my charges!! and they call it fair??
what about the 50% speed that i am now getting???

Iam laughing and crying at Airtel's explanation at the same time!!
What a ridiculous excuse!!
They should have systems in place which does not allow commercial operators to use residential plans. In this age of technology it is so easy to have such systems in place.
Where are all the so called 'brains' of Airtel doing?
